It is a big wine, but this is Le Clos! The tannins are soft and well-integrated. The harvest was ripe, the wine is lush and rich, with aromas of dark, ripe fruits supported by the freshness of 50% ‘whole-bunch’. There will be two schools of thought - forget the wine for 20 years, or start to drink it in 2, regularly, to see its evolution. Both schools will be correct.
